Welcome to Village of Drummond
The Village of Drummond was established in 1916 as a self-governing special taxing district located in Montgomery County Maryland. We are a small, 43-home community.
Drummond is located off of Wisconsin Avenue in Chevy Chase, Maryland, a 12-minute walk north of Friendship Heights and the District of Columbia border, and a 20-minute walk south of downtown Bethesda, Maryland.
Our neighbors are the Town of Somerset to the south, Chevy Chase Village to the East, Kenwood to the West, and West Chevy Chase to the North.
A three-member Citizens’ Committee, composed of Mayor, Secretary, and Treasurer, governs the Village and is elected annually by Village residents. Members of the Citizen’s Committee generally serve for three years—the first two years as secretary or treasurer, and the third as Mayor.​​​​​​​

We hope that you enjoy living in the Village. We hold an annual picnic in September. Add your voice to the governing of the Village at the semi-annual meetings in April and November, or consider joining one of the Village’s committees.
