She is currently the Chair of the Somerset Welcome Committee, a sponsor of the Somerset Elementary School Foundation, and has served as the Chair of the Board of Supervisors of Elections. She was the founding President of the Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School Educational Foundation and the chairperson of Somerset Elementary School’s very successful used book sales.
